Description
This was Dr. Melvin Page’s first publication and contains Page’s philosophy on Applied Biochemistry. This book represents 10-12 years of Page’s independent research done without sponsorship from any source. Much of the material in this collection is extracted from letters and research essays presented by Dr. Page to the Jarvis Correspondence Study Group which was the subject of Applied Biochemistry. This group was founded in 1931 with a maximum membership of 50 nationally-known medical practitioners. The group’s purpose was to further the understanding of biochemistry in clinical medicine. This book captures the studies in the internal relationship of good body chemistry, good health and good teeth. Anything that affects the teeth must affect other parts of the body and the efficiency of the whole mechanism (the body!).
