Description

Many thyroid conditions, whether hypo or hyper, respond well to nutritional support. The thyroid needs: vitamins A,B,C,D, E and F complexes (essential fatty acids); the amino acid tyrosine; and the trace minerals iodine, iron, selenium, magnesium and zinc to produce and utilize its hormones. Fats transport and liberate iodine for utilization in the body. The iodine patch test is a great tool to assess iodine sufficiency.
